Arkansas Children’s Hospital Nursery Alliance
Jefferson Regional Medical Center is a proud partner of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) Nursery Alliance, a move that directly coordinates care between neonatologists at ACH and physicians at JRMC.
Through the alliance, neonatologists at ACH will provide immediate consults to JRMC physicians, as well as educational support, quality data review and implementation of best practices. This alliance means more seriously ill infants receive care at JRMC during the critical first weeks of a baby’s life, closer to their families.
JRMC is the second hospital member of the ACH Nursery Alliance, which was established in 2016 when Conway Regional Health System joined as the first hospital member. Pine Bluff Pediatrician Joann Mays, M.D. will serve as medical director for the alliance at JRMC.
