Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Aldon Corle, Jr. M.D., FACOG, earned his medical degree and completed a residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Dr. Corle is a member of the physician team at South Arkansas OB/GYN Associates and the JRMC Medical Staff. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a fellow in the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Corle enjoys all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology. “I truly feel it is an honor and privilege when patients choose you to take care of them. With obstetrics, they are including you in one of the biggest days of their lives.”
Dr. Corle also enjoys minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. This involves doing laparoscopic surgery. In general, this decreases the length of a hospital stay and patients tend to have less pain and a quicker recovery. He is also trained to use the Da Vinci robot to do gynecologic cases.
Dr. Corle was first introduced to the state of Arkansas while on a weekend trip with his wife. It was during this trip that he was exposed to the beauty of the state and the friendliness of the people. When asked why he chose JRMC to practice medicine, he said, “I believe you go where you are intended to be. For me, that place was to help the people of Southeast Arkansas.”
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Corle enjoys spending time with his family, church activities, hunting and fishing.
