David T. Nixon, M.D.

Ophthalmologist, David T. Nixon, M.D., is a Pine Bluff native. He received his medical degree and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).

Dr. Nixon is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the Jefferson County Medical Society, the Arkansas Medical Society, the Southern Medical Association, the Arkansas Ophthalmology Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Nixon is a member of the JRMC Medical Staff and currently serves as the Medical Director of Credentialing and Regulatory Matters. He is in a private, solo practice here in Pine Bluff. Dr. Nixon also staffs a resident clinic at Jones Eye Institute in Little Rock.
