Pulmonary and Critical Care physician, James Clyde Campbell, Jr., M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.
Dr. Campbell is a member of the Jefferson Regional Medical Center medical staff and practices at Pine Bluff Specialty Clinic. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Disease.
Dr. Campbell is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, Arkansas Thoracic Society, American Medical Association, Arkansas Medical Society, American Society of Internal Medicine, and the Jefferson County Medical Society. He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is the Medical Director of the Respiratory Care Technician Program for Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) and Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Campbell serves his community as a board member for Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity and Hospice Angels. He has taken seven medical mission trips to Honduras with First United Methodist Church.
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Campbell says that he enjoys traveling, people watching and pretending to play golf.
