Dr. Baldeo joined Arkansas Cancer Institute in August 2019 after successfully completing Medical Oncology and Hematology fellowship training at the esteemed Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. In her third year of fellowship, Dr. Baldeo was honored to be selected by the physician faculty at the Mayo Clinic to serve as the Chief Fellow. After graduating from University of the West Indies in St. Augustine, Trinidad, she completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Florida. Her cancer experience is broad and includes cancers of the Breast, Lung and Prostate as well as other organ cancers and multiple myeloma. She has a strong interest in gastrointestinal oncology. Her desire is to give everyone the highest quality of life possible through timely and accurate diagnoses and expedited access to treatment. Dr. Baldeo will soon be triple board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine.
