Darrell Over, M.D.

Family Medicine Physician, Darrell R. Over, M.D., MSc earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in Pine Bluff at the University of Arkansas Area Health Education Center. He is currently an Associate Professor and Associate Residency Director of the UAMS (South Central) Family Medicine Residency Program as well as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Over is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Arkansas Academy of Family Physicians, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors. Dr. Over is a senior member of the JRMC Medical Staff and currently serves as the Chief of the Family Practice Section and on the Performance Improvement Committee. He is a Colonel in the United States Army Retired Reserve.
