Hospitalist, Joseph Rose, M.D., attended high school in Rogers, Arkansas and then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then attended UAMS in Little Rock for Medical School and finally completed his training in Rochester, New York where he obtained board certification in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
Among inpatient care providers at Jefferson Regional, Dr. Rose is the Program Director for the JRMC Hospitalist Program and Administrator of Inpatient Medical Services.
He is the father of three children ages 15, 13 and 11. He has been married to his wife Lena for 21 years now. She practices Emergency Medicine at Baptist Little Rock.
While at home he enjoys being the personal taxi service to all 3 children running back and forth to tennis lessons, piano lessons, baseball practice, baseball tournaments, band functions, football games and other school-related activities. He and his family are very active at Fellowship Bible Church. Their favorite thing to do as a family is to travel and make new memories. They enjoy skiing and spending time on the beach.
