General Surgeon, Lee Forestiere, M.D., earned his medical degree and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock.
Dr. Forestiere is board certified, and practices at Jefferson Regional Surgical Associates. He is a member of the medical staff at Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he has served on most of the hospital committees throughout his career.
Dr. Forestiere is fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Arkansas Medical Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He previously served as President of the Jefferson County Medical Society (1992-1994), a former Delegate Trustee for District 4 and is currently in his second term as Governor of Arkansas Chapter American College of Surgeons.
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Forestiere enjoys thoroughbred horse racing and spending time with family. He and Cindy, his wife of 35 years, have three adult children and growing grandchildren. They also have three rescue Weimaraners that now dominate their lives. He says “it’s like having children all over again”.
