On Tuesday, February 21, at 5:30 p.m., the JRMC Wellness Center in Pine Bluff will host a Weight Watchers informational meeting. The Tuesday meeting is free and open to those who are interested in attending Weight Watchers meetings. If enough interest is generated, the Wellness Center will continue to facilitate meetings on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m., which will be taught by a Weight Watchers representative.
Weight Watchers calls the new “Beyond the Scale” program their “most holistic and personal approach ever.” Beyond the Scale has three key areas of focus: eating healthier, moving more and finding and fueling inner strength. One of the several aspects of this program focuses on flexibility and understanding that every person loses weight differently.
The JRMC Wellness Center encourages community members to come to the no-cost, no-commitment meeting on February 21 to learn more about the resources available through Weight Watchers.
