Hospice care traditionally allows terminally ill patients to remain in the comfort of their own home, focusing on quality of life when the length of life cannot be extended. However, in some cases hospitalization may be needed for a period of time. On those occasions, Jefferson Regional works with Hospice Home Care of Pine Bluff to coordinate inpatient stays in our facility.
Hospice care, whether at home or in the hospital, offers pain control as well as emotional, spiritual and social support services for those facing a terminal diagnosis.
