Spiritual and emotional care is as important to the healing process as physical care. Therefore, at Jefferson Regional, we ensure that a pastoral care chaplain is available to patients and their families. Chaplains offer pastoral care to patients and/or their family members who request assistance in addressing spiritual concerns. The basic purpose of pastoral care is for spiritual healing through counseling and prayer, while bringing God’s peace to those in need. At Jefferson Regional, one of our core values is compassion, we want to make sure the needs of the whole person is met both physical and spiritual.
