On Saturday, June 3, the Trinity Village Family Council will hold its first annual relay and family fair benefit. It will be held at the JRMC Wellness Center track from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
There will be food, a photo booth, a bounce house and entertainment. The Family Council encourages community members of all ages to come and walk the JRMC track at the relay and support the cause.
The Trinity Village Family Council is comprised of family members of Trinity Village residents and works to better the quality of life for those that call the facility home.
Onia B. Walters, President of the Trinity Village Family Council, says the Council has a vision of making a lasting, positive impact on the lives of Trinity Village residents. In order to make their vision come to life, she says the Council must be more financially sound. She said they’re reaching out to people who “really want to do something to help make life better for somebody else other than themselves” for help.
The event is open to the public. Donation containers will be in several different locations and various items will be for sale at the event. The Family Council would like to say “thank you” in advance for your support.
