Orthopaedic Surgeon Roy Burrell earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Science Center. After residency, he completed a fellowship in minimally invasive arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery and joint reconstruction at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. The mainstay of his practice includes joint replacement, minimally invasive arthroscopic sports medicine, trauma and fracture care.

Dr. Burrell practices at Jefferson Regional Orthopaedic Associates and is a member of the Jefferson Regional Medical Staff. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, Arkansas Medical Society and the National Medical Association (NMA). Dr. Burrell provides mentorship and orthopaedic care to the students who are members of the local sports teams at Pine Bluff High School and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB).

When he isn’t caring for his patients, Dr. Burrell enjoys spending time with his wife Keidra and their children, exercising, hunting, boating, and sports.
