Visiting Policy and Hours

To Protect our patients from COVID-19 we continue to examine and adjust our visitor policy as necessary. Always check our website before a visit for the latest information.
Visitor Policy
- All visitors must enter through the 40th Avenue entrance only.
- Check in at front desk
- Have their picture made for visitor’s pass
- Specify what area of hospital they need to visit
- To enter, all visitors must agree to the following:
- Have not tested positive for COVID in the last 10 days
- Have not had close contact with someone who has COVID
- Do not have a fever or any other symptoms of COVID.
Visitation
- Inpatients will be allowed 2 visitors at a time.
- Visitation on the Rehab unit will be Monday – Friday 3 p.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Only 1 visitor allowed in the Emergency Room, except if the patient is under 18 (2 allowed).
- Only 1 visitor allowed in Radiology and Lab waiting areas.
- Surgery waiting room and Cath Lab waiting rooms are open for 2 visitors accompanying each patient.
- Visitation hours will be from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. If you are in by 8 p.m. you may stay overnight but if you leave, you may not come back until 8 a.m.
- All visitors must abide by the visitation guidelines.
- COVID positive patients are not allowed visitors.
- Children under 12 are not allowed above the first floor.
- Masks are not required

Smoking Policy
Effective 10/1/05, Arkansas Act 134 banned smoking on all hospital property. The prohibition against smoking inside Jefferson Regional buildings and on Jefferson Regional property applies to everyone. There are two designated smoking areas that are covered and provide seating: one is located on Hickory between 40th and 42nd; the other is located on Mulberry Street across from the Emergency Room.
Calling a Patient
If you are outside the hospital, you may call a patient room directly by dialing 541 followed by the room number. These calling instructions do not apply to phone numbers in the Clinical Decision Unit or ICU. If you do not know the room number, the hospital operator is available to connect patient calls between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Patients are not able to receive calls after 9:00 p.m.

Dining Facilities
For your convenience, the JRMC cafeteria is located on the Main Hallway of the First Floor.
Cafeteria Hours:
- Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. daily
- Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. daily
- Dinner: 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. daily
- Night: 11:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday)

Vending machines are located on the Main Hallway of the First Floor and available 24 hours.
Parking & Visitor Entrance
Visitor parking is located in the parking garage off of 40th Avenue. Main entrance to the hospital is also off of 40th Avenue.
Wireless Internet Access
Wi-Fi is available to patients and visitors through the “JRMC-GUEST” network. There is no password but terms and conditions must be accepted before access is granted.
