Dr. Asif Masood is a medical Oncologist/Hematologist and has been practicing since 2004. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital/Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He completed fellowship training in medical oncology and hematology at Michigan State University.
Dr. Masood practices at Jefferson Regional Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center. He is an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at the UAMS South Central – Pine Bluff and is actively involved in training young doctors. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and the Arkansas Medical Society.
He lost his mother to cancer when he was only 15 years old, and since then it has been a personal journey and a commitment to bring relief to patients with this terrible disease.
When he isn’t caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his three children and playing pool and golf.
