Hospitalist, Apolinar Bordaddor, MD, earned his medical degree from University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, NCR, Phlippines. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons at Harlem Hospital Center.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the hospitalist team at Jefferson Regional. Dr. Bordador received the Service Hero Award from CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs in both 2016 and 2018.

After initially contemplating a subspecialty training as an intern, Dr. Bordador realized his true love was in general internal medicine because it takes a global view of patient care. He sees hospital medicine as the purest form of general medical care of adults. He chose to practice medicine in Southeast Arkansas from a desire to work in an under-served community while also remaining close to home. When not caring for patients, you might find Dr. Bordador playing tennis or pickleball or enjoying a good stand-up comedy show. He describes a perfect day as one sitting in the shade of palm trees on the beach in the Southern Philippines with his family.
