After gaining his undergraduate degree at Ole Miss, Gastroenterologist J. Steven Blake, DO, earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia, and an Internal medicine residency at PCOM. He was a fellow in Gastroenterology, also at PCOM.
Dr. Blake is a member of the physician team at Jefferson Regional G.I. Associates and the Jefferson Regional Medical Staff. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine with both the National Board of Physicians & Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Blake enjoys chess, traveling, gourmet cooking, art collecting and exercising. He is an avid tennis fan and in 2011 was able to attend all 4 Tennis Grand Slams!
